About me:

Dorothy was born in Texas and reared in North Carolina by Yankees. Her dad was a Marine and her family moved to New Bern when she was one year of age. One of her early childhood memories is rubbing her parents' head or feet. It was just something she did.  She received her massage training through Isothermal Community College in Polk County in 2021 and started her LLC in March of 2022. 

Dorothy enjoys being outside and feels so much more happier when she's in a tent and has "my ears to the earth".

She also enjoys petting puppy dogs, sitting with the cat, laughing at the chickens, mucking after horses, waking up to birdsong, and detecting the vicinity of coyotes when they gather in the dark.

Her work experience spans from motherhood, cashier, fast food, teaching, nurses assistant, landscaping, and now massage. 

Mother's Hands Therapeutic Massage LLC is registered in North Carolina and is primarily a travel massage business. In other words, we come to you..... whether it's at your home, business, or a beautiful outdoor setting.

Dorothy also works through Ocracoke Wellness Collective and The Spa at Waterloo in Creswell for those who prefer a spa experience.
